Payment Methods

Payment Methods

Before you begin

This help article expands on our Payment Policy which you can read by clicking here. It is important to read our Payment Policy as it applies to all transactions between us.

Introduction

We have several ways you can pay for our products and services. The options available to you depend on the following:
  1. Your country of residence and the country in which your business is registered.
  2. The product, service, or subscription you are purchasing or subscribing to.
  3. Local New Zealand and international laws.
  4. The duration of our business relationship with each other, including the volume of annual purchases by you from us.
In most cases, we may offer you more than one option to complete your payments for our invoices.

Warning
Important:
Cash payments and payments made through EFTPOS are not accepted. There are no exceptions.

Credit and debit cards

You can pay for most products, services, and subscriptions using an accepted credit or debit card. Our credit and debit card transactions are processed by Stripe. The following types of cards are accepted for online payments:
  1. Mastercard credit or debit cards.
  2. Visa credit or debit cards.
  3. American Express credit cards.
Alert
Important:
Prepaid and reloadable cards such as Prezzy cards are not accepted.

Card payment surcharge

Stripe charges us for processing the accepted credit and debit cards through their platform. This surcharge is passed on to you and is as follows:
  1. 2.7% of the transaction value and NZD 0.30 for each transaction made using an accepted card issued by a New Zealand bank or licensed financial institution.
  2. 3.7% of the transaction value and NZD 0.30 for each transaction made using an accepted card issued by a bank or licensed financial institution in another country.
Info
Helpful Info:
Since we often offer multiple options of payment, these surcharges will not be included on your invoice by default, unless you have specifically advised you are paying by a card. You will see these charges on the Stripe payment page before you confirm your payment.

Electronic funds transfer (EFT or bank transfer)

The simplest way to make business-to-business (B2B) payments is to transfer the payment amount from your business banking account to ours. This options is included for all invoices except recurring subscription billing.

Our business bank account details are included on our invoices to make it easy for you to transfer your payment.

Payment fees

There is no additional fee if you are transferring your payment from a New Zealand bank account to our business bank account.

If you are an international customer, we will include a NZD 15.00 charge for all incoming EFT transactions. This fee is charged by our bank. For some amounts, we may waive this additional fee and it will not be included as a line item on your invoice.
Alert
Important:
If you are paying from an international bank account, you are responsible to pay for any fees or surcharges imposed by your bank or any other banks involved in the transfer process. If any surcharges or fees owed overseas are deducted from the final payment amount that reaches us, this amount will become an unpaid balance on your invoice and must be paid before your products, services, or subscriptions can be provisioned.

Details to include

When paying by EFT, please ensure you include the invoice number as the payment reference. This helps us to locate and apply the payment against your invoice.
