Financial Hardship

Financial Hardship

We understand that life can sometimes become difficult. While we appreciate your on-time payments, if you are unable to make a payment you owe due to financial hardship, we would be happy to discuss your options.

Let us know

The first thing you must do is let us know (preferably before any payments are due) about your financial hardships and that you may not be able to make a payment by a due date. This will help us to add notes to your subscription or service billing and to discuss your options with you.

Your options

We will consider your situation and may ask for further supporting information to help decide on the best mutual outcome. This may include meeting with you (or a designated person from your business or organisation) virtually or in-person. For smaller amounts, we may extend an invoice's due date to help you pay at a later date. This depends on several factors, including by when you think your financial situation will improve.

For larger amounts, we may be able to help you set up a payment plan. We will need to set up a direct debit with your business bank account (or the bank account of a guarantor for your business, such as a director).

Getting help with your finances

In New Zealand, you can speak to Money Talks which is a free financial helpline for New Zealanders that offers advice on budgeting and managing your debts and finances. You can give them a call or visit their website to find out more about them.
