Taxes

When you purchase a product, service, or subscription from us, we may charge applicable taxes on your purchase.

Goods and Service Tax (GST)

If your business is registered in New Zealand and you are making a purchase on behalf of your New Zealand registered business, we will charge Goods and Service Tax (GST) at the prescribed rate of 15% for all products, services, and subscriptions. This also applies to all personal purchases made by you if you are a tax resident of New Zealand.

Overseas customers are not charged GST in accordance with the tax laws of New Zealand.

In New Zealand, the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) is the governing body for all tax-related affairs. Please discuss with your accountant if you are unsure how doing business with us might affect your tax obligations.

International taxes

We are not liable to pay any taxes on sales made overseas. If you are an international customer, it is your responsibility to ensure any taxes owed in your country and any other countries involved in the transfer of your payments to us, are paid by you.

If any taxes owed overseas is deducted from the amount we have invoiced you, the shortfall will become unpaid balance and will need to to be paid in full before any orders are processed.

Record-keeping for tax purposes

We are required by law to keep and maintain records of all taxable dealings with our customers, both local and international. For this reason, we may store details of your transactions with us for an extended period of time and the details may also include your personal or organisation details. If and when requested to do so, these details will be shared with the Inland Revenue Department (IRD). These details are also shared with our external accountants and auditors for tax compliance purposes.

You agree to us collecting and retaining this information for the period required under applicable tax laws when you purchase a product, service, or subscription from us.

Getting help for your tax obligations

If you are unsure what your tax obligations are, or how doing business with us might affect them, please get in touch with a registered and qualified accountant. If you are in New Zealand, you may also reach out to the IRD to discuss any concerns relating to your tax obligations.
